Super Bowl Futures

The regular season of the NFL is less than a month away. With the preseason kicking off tonight for the most part, I decided to do a deep dive.
What I ended up with were two teams I believe will be playing each other in the Super Bowl. So I did the next logical thing, I bet it.
These two teams are not long shots by any stretch, yet they are also not the favorites.
Super Bowl Futures
AFC Conference Winner:
Chiefs +350? No.
Let’s start with the reigning champs and the favorites to come out of the AFC and the favorites to win the Super Bowl.
The Kansas City Chiefs, who are primed to make a run at a repeat. Now while I know gut feelings do not pay the bills, I have an insane gut feeling I can not shake about this team this season.
That gut feeling is telling my that the Chiefs are going to get bitten by the injury bug to a few key players. I really do from the bottom of my heart hope that is not the case, for I would rather see a team at full strength always. I just can not shake the feeling in my gut.
Bills +450? NO!
The second favorite is an absolute disgrace to the game of football, this Buffalo Bills team is the most over rated team I think I have ever seen.
The defense has glaring holes in at all three levels. While the offense relies on a Josh Allen who is not an elite quarterback at this level.
Yes, Allen has the arm, the charm, the commercials, and the money of an elite quarterback. Yet, he often resorts to Farve like forcing the ball down the field, I am talking old Farve.
The offense has taken a step back each of the last few seasons and outside of that loss to Kansas City in the playoffs, Allen has zero big moments. I have never seen a player get more props for a loss in my life.
Before that game, even Bills fans were asking if he is really their guy. Let me answer this question for you before he does this season. NO, he is not your guy or “the” guy.
Bengals +500? Well, Yes, Actually
The Cincinnati Bengals have been on the doorstep of the title for the past 2 seasons. Every off-season it appears they get deeper, stronger, and better at every position.
The offense has arguably the best balance across the skill positions and being led by Joe Burrow, well that ain’t too bad.
Burrow has proven that he is elite at this level over the last two seasons and is looking to take that next step to prominence. Looking to put a ring on it as Beyoncé would say.
After losing to the Rams in the Super Bowl two years ago, this team has added strength where they need to. After losing to the Chiefs last season in the AFC championship, this team added hunger.
This is one of those spots where you bet the team on the rise. The Bengals to me are that team. Elite defensive line with an extraordinary offense, this team can go as far as their mind will let them.
Chiefs are in a prime spot to plateau, and the Bills are on a downfall.
Add in my gut feeling about the Chiefs and the fact I believe in the Bills about as much as I believe I am better than Michael Jordan, and the Bengals are my pick to represent the AFC in the Super Bowl.
Note: Ravens and Jets are the next teams listed, both at +1000
Super Bowl Futures
NFC Conference Winner:
Eagles +250? No.
The Eagles are a juggernaut only looking to build on last seasons success. Their offense might be the most loaded since the Moss and Carter Vikings. Jalen Hurts will be a force to be reckoned with in the future.
I just keep thinking that they are going to hit a bump in the road this season. I do believe the next 5-10 years they will be in the mix every season.
This particular season I think will be a learning one for all players involved. The cockiness will have to be knocked down and the confidence built back up. I know Hurts is going into his third season, but I am expecting a sophomore slump as they call it.
I mean honestly, without the 49ers literally handing off the game to them in the NFC championship due to injury, see what I did there, who knows what happens in that game.
Looking for an early exit from the playoffs this year and a brutal fight for the NFC East division.
49ers +400? Yes!
After the Eagles and Niners on this list, you can pretty much close your eyes and wish upon a star that any of these teams even make it to the NFC championship game, much less win it.
The Cowboys +600 and Lions +1000 are the next two teams listed. Sounds like a bad dream.
The 49ers have three quarterbacks, all of which I believe can win in this system. They maybe have the best defense in the league all though they can improve the secondary.
McCaffrey is looking to go into his first full season understanding the offense and is primed to have an MVP like affect.
Same thing I said about the Bengals being the team on the rise, the 49ers have been on the fringe of a title for almost a decade now and have not been able to reach that pinnacle.
Add that to the fact that this is a two dog race between them and the Eagles in my mind, I will throw my money on the niners. As scary as that sounds.
