A new era in Indianapolis has begun.

After a few rough years of mediocre quarterback play/woes and years of old veterans, the Colts decided to go the other way. Drafting Anthony Richardson number four, this was a sign that the Colts were looking to the future.

It seems as if the future is now. As of August 15th, Colts head coach Shane Steichen came out and made the announcement.

Standing at 6″4 and weighing 255 pounds, Richardson will look to lead this Colts offense into the future. Jim Irsay came out on the Pat McAfee show a few weeks ago saying “Richardson will need to play to get experience.” Now, it seems like he will be getting the best experience he can get.

In the great words of Michael Jordan “the ceiling is the roof” when it comes to Anthony Richardson. This guy truly has so much potential, there is just a question on his experience. This could be a huge year one for Richardson, who looks to bring the offense of the Colts back.
