NFL Week 18 marks the finale of the NFL regular season. It’s truly crazy to think that we are here. What a ride of a season it’s been, and we cap off NFL Week 18 with the one seed in the NFC on the line.
It is a big vibes week. Here are my plays for the NFL Week 18 Sunday slate of games.
Check out the latest episodes of the JCPod and Captain By A Hook for my full breakdowns and analysis. All odds are a mix/the best number from FanDuel, DraftKings, and BetMGM.
Straights
Texans money line (+106)
This is just a simple fade of the Titans due to the draft seeding. If the Titans lose this game, at worst they will have the number two draft pick. If the Patriots beat the Buffalo Bills, then the Titans will end up with the number one overall pick in a loss here to the Texans.
Commanders -6.5 (-110)
I loved this number at -4.5, and will admit I am a bit nervous of the -6.5 points. However, a win goes a long way for the Commanders with playoff seeding. Along with that, the Cowboys got blasted by the Eagles last week. I look for the Commanders to win by at least 7-10 points.
Chiefs +11 (-110)
I just expect this to be a close game. Even with some guys sitting, the Chiefs have enough talent and experience on their side to keep this within 10 points.
Chargers -6 (-110)
This game now means so much more since the Steelers lost. A win here means that the Chargers will play the Texans instead of the Baltimore Ravens in the playoffs. I expect the Chargers to win this game comfortably.
Lions money line (-155) & game over 56 (-110)
In this clash for the NFC North and the number one seed, I am on the side of the Lions. While I do have a bit of a gut feeling the Vikings win, the grit and toughness of the Lions has me stuck on them. This game could also be a shootout, so I am on the over as well.
Props
Mike Evans over 94.5 receiving yards (-113)
Mike Evans is five receptions and 85 yards away from not only a three million dollar bonus, but also another 1,000 receiving yard season.
Courtland Sutton over 81.5 receiving yards (-113)
Sutton needs 82 receiving yards to cash in on an incentive. He will/could also be a huge part in the Broncos trying to get into the playoffs.
Kyler Murray rush over 50+ yards (+180)
Kyler needs 50+ rushing yards for a bonus. I look for him to try and get over this rush mark.
