We have a beautiful matchup for this final four action in College Football. The Orange Bowl and Cotton Bowl look to be truly two great games. We have Notre Dame vs Penn State, along with Ohio State vs Texas. BOY this should be an exciting two days.

Here are my best plays for the Orange Bowl & Cotton Bowl.

Check out the latest episodes of the JCPod and for my full breakdowns and analysis. All odds are a mix/the best number from FanDuel, DraftKings, and BetMGM.

Straights

Notre Dame money line (-120)

I truly believe Notre Dame can win this game. With how good their defense has playing and how good Riley Leonard has been at quarterback, this team is a hard out. However, you could say the same for Penn State and Drew Allar. I look for Notre Dame to be able to establish the run game between Leonard and the running backs, with the defense getting enough key stops to help them win. This should be a close, tough, and very strategic football game.

Ohio State -5.5 (-114)

If both teams play to their best, I feel as if I have to go Ohio State. Even with how good of a defense Texas has, it just feels as if Ohio State has too many weapons. This game does scare me a bit when it comes to a blowout, but Texas should be able to keep this close? (this was my thinking when I was deciding between Texas and Ohio state).

I just feel as if Ohio State shows up like they have the last two weeks, they could win this game by 10+ points.

Props

Riley Leonard over 47.5 rush yards (-114)

I expect Riley Leonards legs to be a big part of the offense again. With Jeremiyah Love injured and not 100%, that makes Leonards legs that much more important. As long as he doesn’t get sacked (sack yardage does go against rush yards), this over should hit again.

Beaux Collins over 17.5 receiving yards (-115)

This is a number that I really like. Collins is super shifty due to his lacrosse background. If he can get over two/three receptions, this over will be no problem. The only scare I have is Notre Dame not being forced to throw the ball.

Jaden Greathouse over 10.5 receiving yards (-115)

If Notre Dame throws the ball, I like how low some of these receiver totals are. The only issue is the last few games, Notre Dame has not had to throw the ball too much.

Kaytron Allen over 5.5 receiving yards (-115)

This is just a number play. With how low this total is, this could happen on one play, especially if Notre Dame plays a lot of man defense again.

Jeremiah Smith over 84.5 receiving yards (-114)

Smith is the best player on Ohio States offense. I expect him to have another big game here against Texas. While Texas does have a good defense, Smith truly might be that special.

Riley Leonard over 0.5 pass touchdowns (-180)

I am are pairing this bet with Notre Dame money line to get better value. That brings it to +141 odds.

Anytime touchdown scorers

Riley Leonard (-110)

Tyler Warren (-105)

Jeremiah Smith (-170)

Matthew Golden (+125)
