It is finally time! Wildcard Weekend is here, so it is time for some NFL playoff action. The Saturday Wildcard Weekend slate gives us two AFC matchups to watch.
Here are my plays for the Saturday Wildcard Weekend Games.
Straights
Chargers -3 (-102)
In this game, I look for the Chargers to come out on top. If the Chargers are able to slow down Joe Mixon, that will make CJ Strouds job so much more complicated. The Chargers are also coming in playing better football down the stretch, as the Texans had a bit of a shaky last few games.
Ravens -9.5 (-115)
The Ravens have ended the season on a really high note. As for the Steelers, the defense has been struggling and they lose four straight. Lamar Jackson seems to be playing on another level, so I expect him to lead the Ravens to a victory of 10+ points.
Props
Ladd McConkey over 72.5 (-113) receiving yards & over 5.5 receptions (-130)
Ladd has been the main target this season for Justin Herbert. If I think the Chargers are gonna win the game, then they’re gonna have to use Ladd McConkey and expect a big day out of him. He has been very good at finding open spots, and has been on a heater the last three games.
Justin Herbert over 1.5 pass touchdowns (+110)
I look for the Chargers to score around 24-27 points, with Herbert throwing for at least two touchdowns. With the Chargers running backs not being 100%, rushing in the red zone could be an issue.
Herbert has also thrown for 2+ pass touchdowns in four straight games.
Will Dissly over 29.5 receiving yards (-113)
If there is a lot of focus on McConkey, this should allow for Dissly to be a safety valve. With three to four receptions, I believe he will hit this over.
Rashod Bateman over 45.5 recieving yards (-120)
With no Zay Flowers, there will be a few extra targets to go around. I expect Mark Andrews to be the main focus of the Steelers defense, allowing for other guys to get those few extra looks needed to hit the over.
Isaiah Likely over 28.5 receiving yards (-110)
Very similar to above, I expect Mark Andrews to be the main focus of the Steelers defense. This should allow Likely to have one on one matchups. He also has hit this over in both of the games these two teams played in this year.
Anytime touchdown scorers
JK Dobbins +135
Joe Mixon -115
Mark Andrews +135
Derrick Henry -185
