The Baltimore Ravens have added another veteran presence, this time on defense. The Ravens have added veteran pass rusher Jadeveon Clowney per the team. They added Clowney on a one year deal up to six million dollars per Ian Rapoport.

Clowney was one of the top remaining pass rushers on the market waiting to sign. He had recently visited the Jacksonville Jaguars, but ultimately Clowney chose the Ravens. This is really good depth for a Ravens team looking to get a bit more out of their pass rush.

Clowney spent the last two seasons with the Cleveland Browns, appearing in 26 games for them. He has not been as dominant as he was his first five seasons, winning three pro bowls, but he looks to get that back.

With a very talented offense, hopefully this will give him the chance to rush the passer more often. The Ravens defensive line looks to to beef up and get ready for a tough battle to try and win the AFC North.
