Eight-time Pro Bowl cornerback Patrick Peterson will be retiring with the Arizona Cardinals, a source told Adam Schefter.

Peterson played the first 10 seasons of his career with the Cardinals, who drafted him as a fifth overall pick in the 2011 NFL Draft.

All eight of the 34-year-old’s Pro Bowls occurred during the first eight seasons of his career, and he was named a First-Team All-Pro on three occasions as well on his career.

During his 10-year stay with Arizona, Peterson recorded 28 interceptions, two forced fumbles, and 12 fumble recoveries.

The cornerback also shined as a punt returner during his rookie season. Peterson led the NFL in return yardage (699) and touchdowns (four).

Peterson enjoyed a two-year tenure with the Minnesota Vikings from 2021-22 and a one-season stop with the Pittsburgh Steelers in the 2023 season.

Peterson ends his NFL career with 36 interceptions and two pick-6s. Congrats to one hell of a career Patrick Peterson!
