Tight end Dallas Goedert and the Philadelphia Eagles have agreed to a reworked contract that will keep him with the team in 2025,  Mike Garafolo reports.

The Eagles were reportedly open to shopping Goedert, who was set to enter the final season of a four-year, $57-million extension he signed in 2021. The 30-year-old was slated to make $14.25 million in 2025.

Goedert has been a key fixture of the Eagles’ offense since his 2018 rookie season. He’s caught 349 passes for 4,085 yards and 24 touchdowns over seven years.

Goedert was slowed down during the 2024 season, playing a career-low 10 games as he battled with injuries. His two receiving touchdowns were also a career worst, while his 42 receptions and 496 yards were his lowest outputs since his rookie year.

However, the Eagles won the Super Bowl, so the end goal was met. He now gets a chance to go back to back.
