The New York Jets are signing running back Breece Hall to a three-year, $45.75-million contract extension, according to Ian Rapoport.

The Jets placed their franchise tag on him in March. Hall originally would have earned $14.2 million next season if he’d signed the one-year tender. Hall rushed for a career-high 1,065 yards in 2025, despite the Jets posting a 3-14 record.

Teams had inquired about Hall’s availability last season as well as into the offseason after the Jets dealt away stars Sauce Gardner and Quinnen Williams. However, Hall remained with New York after the trade deadline.

The 24-year-old becomes one of the highest paid halfback in the league with an annual average salary of $15.25 million, sitting behind Saquon Barkley ($20.6 million) and Christian McCaffrey ($19 million).

A dual threat out of the backfield, Hall has racked up 5,040 scrimmage yards and 27 total touchdowns over four seasons as a pro.
