After an exciting Thursday night game and some fun Saturday College Football games, we are officially now to the NFL. Coming into this NFL Week Four, there are some teams who really could use a win bad. There are other teams as well looking to continue the climb towards the postseason that feels so far away, yet so close.
Here are my plays for the NFL Sunday Week Four slate.
Check out the latest episodes of the JCPod and Captain By A Hook for my full breakdowns. All odds are a mix/the best number from FanDuel, DraftKings, and BetMGM.
Straights
Colts +2 (-110)
To be honest this is totally a fan bet, but I at least have to give it out for my integrity. I’m hoping that the Colts and Anthony Richardson can build off what they did against the Bears last week, and defend the home field against a very tough and stout Steelers team.
The Colts will have to protect Anthony Richardson and contain TJ Watt if they want any hopes of winning this game. This is going to be a tough and rough battle of will.
Falcons -2.5 (-125)
In this matchup versus the Saints, I look for the Falcons to be able to take advantage of the home game here. I’ll look for this to be a tough battle between two division foes.
The Saints came out really hot the first two weeks of the season, and I look for them the cool off and reach back towards the mean as the season continues to go.
Meanwhile on the other side, it looks as if the Falcons are slowly starting to click and get a bit better on offense. As long as the coach doesn’t make any dumb decisions, I like for Atlanta to win this game.
Texans -6 (-110)
The Texans are dealing with a few injuries, so I am a bit more nervous about this game now. However, the Jaguars seem truly broken at this point. They are on a massive losing streak, and that game against the Bills was just a beat down of the jags. Until the Jaguars show some sign of life, I will probably continue to fade them.
Texans are coming in off a horrible game against the Vikings. I look for CJ Stroud to bounce back and for the Texans win this game by more than a touchdown.
Rams +3 (-110)
I am kind of shocke the Bears are favored by this much, but I also sort of get it. The Rams are coming in off a huge comeback win against the San Francisco 49ers. Caleb Williams did look somewhat impressive against the Colts last week. I look for him to do about more the same.
With Matt Stafford on the other side, I have to take the three points. Until the Bears show they have a run game and block on offense, I like taking the Rams and the points here.
Bills +2.5 (-110)
I am sort of shocked that the bills are dogs here. I get the trend from before, but this Bills team seems to be a bit different than years past. I like the way Bills team is really playing.
Meanwhile on the other side, the Ravens have blown leads in the last two games. They lost the first one, and almost lost another one against the Cowboys last week.
Based on how these two teams are playing so far this season, it is hard for me not to take Josh Allen and the Bills here for Sunday Night Football Week Four.
Player Props: Touchdown Scorers
I will admit, I totally spaced it and forgot to look at some of the yardage for player props. Due to that, I will be sticking to only touchdown scorers this week for the last time. Below are the people I look to score tomorrow:
Tee Higgins (+185)
Bijan Robinson (-125)
Aaron Jones anytime (+130)
Aaron Jones 2x (+850)
Cam Akers anytime (-115)
Nico Collins (+105)
Jonathan Taylor (-120) or Anthony Richardson (+145)
Roschon Johnson (+210)
Tutu Attwell (+310)
James Conner (-120)
Brian Robinson (+115)
Josh Allen (+130)
James Cook (+145)
Parnell’s Nasty Boy Parlay Play of the Day
We are coming in off hitting back to back Nasty Boys in the NFL, and just barely losing the College Nasty Boy. Can we make it a three peat in the NFL????
I was able to get odds of +1196 boosted to +1795 if you use a 50% boost:
- Cam Akers anytime touchdown (-115)
- Breece Hall anytime touchdown (-155)
- James Conner anytime touchdown (-120)
- Aaron Jones anytime touchdown (+130)
Let’s have a DAY! PLEASE GAMBLE RESPONSIBLY
