
The Super Bowl is returning to Vegas, as NFL announced that it awarded Super Bowl LXIII to Allegiant Stadium. This is the home of the Las Vegas Raiders.
The 2029 Super Bowl will be the second championship game to take place in Vegas in a five-year span. Allegiant Stadium opened in 2020. It hosted the previous Super Bowl in February 2024, when the Kansas City Chiefs beat the San Francisco 49ers in overtime.
Super Bowl LVIII in Las Vegas had an official sellout attendance of 61,629, the smallest crowd for a non-pandemic Super Bowl.
SoFi Stadium – home of the Los Angeles Rams/Los Angeles Chargers – and the Atlanta Falcons’ Mercedes-Benz Stadium will host the next two Super Bowls before the one in Allegiant Stadium.
