The San Francisco 49ers have agreed to a two-year, $50-million extension with left tackle Trent Williams, his agency Elite Loyalty Sports announced.

The new contract includes $37 million fully guaranteed as well as a $22 million signing bonus. This ensures the 37-year-old remains with the Niners through the 2027 season.

Williams’ extension ends an impasse that has hovered over the franchise this offseason. The 12-time Pro Bowler was set to enter the 2026 season with no guarantees remaining on his previous deal.

Williams has come out as well recently and said this potentially will be the last deal he will sign as an NFL player. So, we could be entering a world where we see the final two seasons of Trent Williams.

With the addition of Mike Evans to this roster as well, it is very clear the 49ers are trying to win it all. With a good amount of their stars being more on the back end of their career than the front, these next two seasons will be massive for the San Francisco 49ers.
