After a fun yet wild weekend of games, we now have another week of double header Monday Night Football games!
Here are my plays for the Monday Night Football Week Four double header.
Check out the latest episodes of the JCPod and Captain By A Hook for my full breakdowns. All odds are a mix/the best number from FanDuel, DraftKings, and BetMGM.
Straights
Dolphins -2.5 (-110)
In this game, I just can’t take Will Levis and the Titans. I’ve not liked what I’ve seen from full games Ottawa Levis, or the Titans. They have moments of good, but there always seems to be something bad that happens and ruining the game.
I’m gonna hope that will help the Dolphins just enough with all the stars. I have prevail in this game. If they can get any good to decent quarterback play out of Huntley, the Dolphins can win by more than a touchdown.
Seahawks +4.5 (-115)
In this game, I’m just going with the dog and the points. While I do think the Lions will win, I feel as if Seattle can keep it close. Their defense has been playing really well with the new head coach Mike Macdonald leading it , and the offense to be doing just as well, with Geno and the new offensive coordinator seemingly working. This should be a fun exciting game that could come down to a game winning field goal, so I have to go with the four points here.
Props
Kenneth Walker anytime touchdown (+110)
Kenneth Walker is now returning for the Seahawks. If they get into the red zone, I look for him to be the main weapon for the Seahawks to try and score.
David Montgomery anytime touchdown (-125)
David Montgomery is currently on an NBA Jam, and has scored 3 games in a row. You know the rules from there.
DK Metcalf over 66.5 receiving yards (-110)
DK has gone over 100 yards in the last two games. White how explosive he can be, I look for him to get around 3-5 receptions to hit the over.
Tyreek Hill longest reception over 20.5 yards (-115)
With Tyler Huntley now starting at quarterback for the Dolphins, I like their chances to go down the field a bit more. With how Tyreek Hill is as an athlete, he can take a slant 80 yards to the house. All we need is one big reception out of Tyreek.
Jameson Williams longest reception over 20.5 yards (-118)
Similar to Tyreek, Williams is the Lions explosive guy. I look for him to get 2-3 chances at turning a catch into big yards.
De’Von Achane over 25.5 receiving yards (-110)
With Tyler Huntley, getting his first start as a Dolphins quarterback, I am not too sure as to where he is going to target. Due to that, the check down is always an option. I look for Achane to get a few check downs and work in the passing game to hit this over.
Will Levis over 14.5 rushing yards (-110)
Will Levis was three yards away from hitting this over three games in a row. While he can make some boneheaded decisions at time, he still is a pretty athletic kid. I look for him to get two to three scrambles, with that hopefully being enough.
Jahmyr Gibbs over 51.5 rushing yards (-110)
Gibbs has rushed for 80 yards and back-to-back games. Coming against a tough Seattle defense, running room might be hard to find. Given that Gibbs is an explosive back, this gives him good chances to rip off a run and go for a lot of yards. The Lions have Thunder and lightning with Montgomery and Gibbs, so I see a game where they can find a way to help Gibbs get over 50 rushing yards.
Parnell’s Nasty Boy Parlay Play of the Day
We missed both the college and NFL Nasty Boys, but we at least are still up on the year! Tonight, I have two yard props and two touchdown scorers
I was able to get odds of +1001 boosted to +1302 with a 30% boost:
- David Montgomery anytime touchdown (-125)
- Kenneth Walker anytime touchdown (+110)
- Jahmyr Gibbs over 51.5 rush yards (-110)
- De’Von Achane over 50 rush yards (-192)
