Villanova outlast Creighton in Overtime.

The Big East Conference tipped off conference play two days ago and has been anything but routine. The top three projected teams in the conference start off 0-1 in conference play officially once Villanova sealed the overtime win.
Marquette, Creighton, and UConn all start off the conference play with a loss. Villanova vs No. 12 Creighton was a story of two halves, as each team won a half by 10 points. Forcing overtime to settle the score.

Creighton took a 10 point lead into halftime, 34-24. Then in the second half, a complete turn around; Villanova won the second half 34-24. At the final buzzer, overtime was needed to determine a winner of this game.
Creighton at home as 8.5 point favorites ended up falling by 2 in overtime. Starting off the Big East conference play 0-1. The Bluejays struggled to hit outside shots and refused to attack the paint.
Villanova who won by two trailed for the majority of the game, their biggest lead of the game was 3 points. While they trailed by as many as 14.
Despite two Creighton players recording double-doubles, Villanova led by Eric Dixon walked away with the win.
Dixon scored a game high 32 points and also grabbed 6 rebounds. Hakim Hart finished with 10 points, being the only other Wildcat in double digits.
Trey Alexander and Baylor Scheierman led the Bluejays in stats, both with double-doubles. Alexander finished with 16 points and 15 rebounds. Scheierman finished with 16 points and 11 rebounds.
Big East Basketball is off to a hot start, it is anybodies league thus far this season.
