Tulane Basketball: 2-0

The Green Wave of Tulane University in New Orleans, Louisiana has a basketball team that could be underrated early this season.
They are now 2-0 after their first two games, yet deeper than that this team as an extra zip to them. Ron Hunter and company could be dangerous come conference play.
Not a bad idea to jump on the Tulane train now at +1500, with Houston and Cincinnati and others gone, it’s Memphis vs the field.
Tulane Basketball 2-0
Tulane opened the season against Nicholls, a high scoring affair in which Tulane won 91-81. The Green Wave shot 50% from the floor despite poor shooting from behind the arc.
They won this game in the fast break offense allowing turnovers to fuel the points. Some monster stats from their first game include three players with 20 or more points and another 18 point double-double.
Kevin Cross recorded the double-double, 18 points and 14 rebounds to go along with 5 assist. Kolby King had the team’s high in points, scoring 22 points in 35 minutes.
Siam James along with 5 rebounds scored 21 points. Also Collin Holloway scored an even 20.
Tulane Basketball 2-0
On Thursday night the Green Wave took on Northwestern State in their second game of the season. Again Ron Hunter and company showed up on a mission.
Dominating win, 88-71, from end to end for Tulane as they improve to 2-0. Kevin Cross, Kolby King, and Collin Holloway again shine in the victory.
Kevin Cross ended the game with 23 points, 6 assist, and 8 rebounds. While Kolby King chipped in 20 points of his own. Holloway with a solid 18 and 5 performance.
Again, Tulane shot the ball greater than 50% from the field while avoiding the long rang ball.
If this team gets attacking the basket and shooting the ball at 50% from the field, they will be going places.
College Basketball is back, and this is what it’s all about.
