The Dallas Wings took down the back to back champions Las Vegas Aces last night. Satou Sabally was everywhere on the court as she finishes with an insane stat line.
Satou Sabally was defending, rebounding, scoring, assisting, and leading the Wings all night along side Natasha Howard.
Howard who scored 24 points including a couple of late buckets and free throws pushed the Wings passed the Aces.
It was an all around team effort as Teaira McCowan dominated the glass recording 17 rebounds to go along with her 8 points. All-Star game MVP Arike Ogunbowale had 6 assist and 5 rebounds to go along with her 20 points.
Satou Sabally was Everywhere on the floor for Dallas
However the player who led the team all night and had key possessions on both sides of the floor late in the game was Satou Sabally. Making the right play after right play.
Sabally ended the night with a team high 28 points shooting lights out from the floor. She finished shooting 71.4% from the floor going 4-6 from three point range and 10-14 total. To go along with her scoring she recorded 2 steals, 5 assist, and 7 rebounds. Absolute monster game!
The Dallas Wings are now 8-22 on the season. With 10 games left the Wings are only 3.5 games back from sneaking into the playoffs.
Now fully healthy, we have seen what this team can do. Can this huge win propel a late season run for Dallas?
The next two games will be huge against two of the hottest teams since the break, Minnesota Lynx and Indiana Fever.
