Coming off one of the best games of the year on Monday, we now enter Thursday Night Football in Week Six of the NFL. The Seattle Seahawks are on the road traveling to Mile High to take on the Denver Broncos.
Here are my plays for Thursday Night Football in Week Six.
Check out the latest episodes of the JCPod for my full breakdowns and analysis. All odds are a mix/the best number from Fanatics, BetMGM, FanDuel, and DraftKings.
Straights
Seahawks -2.5 (-115)
When it comes to this game, I think I’m going to have to take the road favorite here to win by a field goal or more. I just have not been a fan of what I’ve seen out of the Denver Broncos offense. I believe that if they continue to struggle like they have, they will truly struggle against the Seahawks defense in this game. As for the other side of the ball, the Seahawks offense can do enough I think against this slightly depleted Denver Broncos defense. I also think coming off a loss last week will give the Seahawks the urgency edge they will need to win this game.
The one X factor in this game will be can Denver and Bo Nix get some things figured out on their offense? If the struggles continue into this game and the answer is no, then I do not see how the Denver Broncos team will be able to win this.
Player Props
Emanuel Wilson over 66.5 rush yards (-114)
With Zach Charbonnet looming on the horizon, this will most likely be either the last week or the second to last week of Emanuel Wilson getting the full work load. Getting that workload has lead to at least 20 attempts in both of the last two games. If he gets that many touches again, I like for him to hit this over.
Jaxon Smith-Njigba over 90+ receiving yards (-122)
JSN makes it seem like it will be inevitable for him to have a massive game. My only fear for taking this bet is he is currently dealing with an ankle injury. He has hit this over in every game but one so far this season, so we will take it in hopes that he is healthy enough to be effective and play.
Evan Engram over 21.5 receiving yards (-114)
When it comes to betting on players in this Sean, Payton offense, you might as well be throwing a dart at the dartboard. 20 yards feels a little too low, but this offense has been so bad that maybe it might not be?
RJ Harvey over 3.5 receptions (-108)
In the last four games, Harvey has hit this over all but one time, which was last game. I look for this offense to try and get back into rhythm, which means using the backs (like Harvey) out of the backfield.
As for anytime touchdown scorers, I like: Emanuel Wilson (+110), Courtland Sutton (+240), and Rashid Shaheed (+400).
Parnell’s Nasty Boy Parlay Play of the Day
We had two legs out of four legs on our Monday Night Nasty Boy, and that was just not good enough.
I was able to get odds of +942 boosted to +1414 with a 50% boost:
- Emanuel Wilson (+110) anytime touchdown scorer
- Evan Engram over 21.5 receiving yards (-114)
- Jaxon Smith-Njigba over 90+ receiving yards (-122)
- Emmanuel Wilson over 66.5 rush yards (-114)
Let’s have a DAY! PLEASE GAMBLE RESPONSIBLY!
