Redshirt senior defensive back Braden Turner celebrates with his teammate, redshirt junior defensive back Damon Walters, after breaking up a pass. Turner recorded three of NU’s 13 pass breakups on the outing, the highest single-game total for the program since 2004, with Walters also tallying a pass breakup and interception. It is time for College Football Week Seven, and we will have some GREAT action from sun up to sun down. With banger after banger after banger all weekend long, this looks to be one of the bigger College Football weekends yet.

Here are my plays for College Football in Week Seven.

Straights

Friday

Purdue -3 (-125)

Washington is really having some issues right now it seems as a team. On the other side of the ball, Purdue seems to be finally coming out of the darkness and having a semi decent football team. Purdue has been starting to improve on defense, and that Purdue offense can put up enough points to win them any game. Not only is this a long travel game for Washington, they are coming off a horrible loss at home. If Washington is not able to get off the mat, then the Boilermakers should have no issues scoring a lot of points and winning this game.

Saturday

Notre Dame -9.5 (-138)

With no LJ Martin for the BYU Cougars, I feel as if Notre Dame should have an even better chance of winning this game by over 10+ points. This will just come down to if Notre Dame can handle Bear Bachmeier and keep him more as a passer. If Notre Dame can keep him contained as well as taking the crowd out of the game, then the Fighting Irish should have no issue winning this game by 10+ points. The longer the BYU Cougars can hang around in this game, the more nervous I will be about Notre Dame covering this number.

West Virginia – Cincinnati over 63.5 (-106)

The over in these West Virginia games has hit every week so far the season. West Virginia’s offense is good enough to put up 30 points by themselves. However, the issue for them is their defense is giving up about 30 to 40 points in every game they played so far this season. Assuming the trend continues, this game should give us some fireworks.

UTSA -6.5 (-120)

Coming off a pretty good win last week, I look for UTSA to continue that momentum in this spot here. I like for them to win this game by at least a touchdown over Navy. The Roadrunners can light up the scoreboard, we just need their defense to get a couple of stops.

New Mexico -15.5 (-110)

New Mexico has been a covering machine so far this season, and actually have been a pretty damn good football team. Hawaii, on the other hand, has been okay so far this season. Assuming travel isn’t an issue, I could see New Mexico winning this game by 20+ points.

Northwestern -7 (-115)

Northwestern has been on fire offensively lately under Chip Kelly. With everything that they have been doing in the run game has been keeping a lot of these teams confused. Northwestern is going to be able to put up a good amount of points, and I am just not too sure if Michigan State can keep up with that scoring.

UMass +7 (-125)

I feel like this is a great spot to take UMass and the points. UMass is coming off a very tough loss, while Buffalo is coming off a pretty big win on the road against Toledo. I just feel as if UMass might have a little bit more urgency when it comes to this game, and I definitely trust the quarterback a lot more.

Parnell’s Nasty Boy Parlay Play of the Day

At this point we either have to be cursed, or we are really due.

I was able to get odds of +1086:

  • West Virginia – Cincinnati over 63.5 (-106)
  • Indiana +3.5 (-115)
  • James Madison – Georgia State over 57.5 points (-112)
  • Notre Dame -9.5 (-138)

Let’s have a DAY! PLEASE GAMBLE RESPONSIBLY!
