The New England Patriots are releasing longtime center David Andrews, the team announced.

Andrews played in just four games during the 2024 season before sustaining a season-ending shoulder injury.

The 32-year-old has played in at least 94% of the team’s offensive snaps during his appearances from 2016-2023. He was named team captain eight times.

Andrews has been with the Patriots since 2015 and has won two Super Bowls (LI and LIII) with them. He has appeared in 124 games, 121 of those being starts, since going undrafted out of Georgia.
