Back at it for week 2 of college football action. We come into the week 8-11 and look to keep it going.

Friday
Kansas -3
Kansas gets Jalon Daniels back for this matchup, and I like the way that sounds. I’m picking Kansas based off of last week’s Illinois performance. I think Illinois will be good this year, but I like Kansas slightly more head to head. Give me Kansas -3 for my only Week 2 Friday play.
Saturday
Colorado -2.5
If you were following from last week, I was able to get Colorado at +8 before their game against TCU. Nebraska has since gone from 8 point favorites to two point dogs. I am scared of the trenches for Colorado, but love them everywhere else. I was not impressed by Nebraska against Minnesota either. In a battle of Deion Sanders vs Matt Rhule, give me Prime Time and the -2.5 and the +8 from last week.
Notre Dame -7.5
NC State’s defense is solid, but I also think Notre Dames pass game has gotten better from last year. The Fighting Irish have won 28 straight regular-season games against ACC opponents, a streak that dates back to 2017. The Fighting Irish are also 40-7 against ACC teams since their partnership began in 2014. With Sam Hartman at the helm, I can see ND winning by 10+ points.
UMass +7
I cannot stay away from this team so far this year. After getting burnt last week, they come into this game as home dogs against Miami of Ohio. Both teams got blown out last week, but I was more impressed by the Minutemen. Give me UMass +7
UConn moneyline
We were able to get the cover last week with UConn vs NC State. This week, UConn goes into Georgia State as three point dogs. I’m gonna ride UConn and what they did last week. I can see UConn stealing a win in this spot here.
Auburn -6.5
Last week, Auburn blew the doors off UMass. This week, they travel to play a Cal team that beat North Texas. In the first true road test for Hugh Freeze, I like his team overall more than Cals. I think Auburn can win this game by 10+ on their way to a good season. So give me Auburn and the points.
Eastern Michigan +20.5
Last week, Minnesota stole a close one from Nebraska. I was not impressed by Minnesota’s offense at all, and I think they still have a few games until they feel totally comfortable. Due to how low I am on Minnesota right now, I am going to take the dog in week 2. Give me Eastern Michigan +20.5
Texas +7.5
I am just simply taking the points in this game. Texas played them good last year with Quinn Ewers before he got hurt in the game. I also believe that Texas has spent the last 3 weeks most likely prepping for Alabama. I think they can keep it close, so I am going to take my chance with the 7 points and Texas.
Parnell’s Nasty Boy Parlay of the Weekend
We did not hit last week, but we are back again to try it once more for Week 2. This week, I decided to keep it a bit more basic:
- Kansas -3 (-134)
- Texas +7.5 (-115)
- Ole Miss moneyline (-310)
- Colorado moneyline (-148)
This is not too nasty for the week, but still a little dirty to get some value. I got this on DraftKings at +623. Let’s have a weekend!
