Thursday Night Football gave us a pretty decent game, so let’s see if the Sunday slate could do the same. NFL Sunday Week three has a couple of games that look to be potential thrillers.

Here are my bets for The NFL Week Three slate of games.

Check out the latest episodes of the JCPod for my full breakdowns and analysis. All odds are a mix/the best number from FanDuel, DraftKings, and BetMGM.

Straights

Packers -7.5 (-104)

To be honest, I am not putting too much thought into this bet. The Packers have just been dominant the start of the year so far, so I’m gonna keep taking them until it’s proven otherwise.

Vikings -3 (-105)

In this battle of the backups, I am going to go with the Minnesota Vikings at home. I think their defense is better, and that is gonna be the key factor in this game with how much the Bengals offensive line has struggled this year, Brian Flores should be able to dial up enough blitzes to give the Bengals problems all day long.

Texans moneyline (+110)

While I am very concerned about the Houston Texans offensive line, I do think their offense can do just enough to help them win this game. I think the Texans defense is very talented, and could give the Jacksonville Jaguars lot of problems.

I also just think the Texans have played two really good opponents, and this line is a bit of an overreaction. But I am still very worried about the offensive line.

49ers -2.5 (-105)

Brock Purdy being in or not, I just think the 49ers are better than the Cardinals overall. While this still may end up being a close game, I feel like the Cardinals have not really been tested up till this point. With this being the first test, I’m curious to see how they react to this game

My one main reason for fading the Cardinals is in each of the first two games, they have really looked kind of lackadaisical in the second half. The 49ers, are a team that you can not just stop playing for any of the four quarters.

Props

Carson Wentz over 9.5 rush yards (-122)

Carson Wentz can be a wild man out there on the field. I like that this number is under 10 yards, as Wentz can hit this over in two scrambles.

TreVeyon Henderson over 22.5 rush yards (-114)

Speed backs have killed the Steelers the last two weeks. The only reason Henderson got benched last week was because of the three holding calls. Unless he is in the doghouse again this week, this number just feels way too low.

Tyler Warren over 47.5 receiving yards (-114)

His receiving over is yet again set under 50+ receiving yards. Tyler Warren should get about 60-70 receiving yards on average most games, so that makes this number way too low.

Elic Ayomanor over 35.5 receiving yards (-114)

This rookie wide receiver has been making plays the last two weeks, and I expect the connection from him and Cam Ward to continue to grow. I see Ayomanor getting about 40-50 receiving yards in this game.

Bijan Robinson over 81.5 rush yards (-114)

The Panthers defense has really been struggling this year. With how talented of a back Bijan Robinson is, I’ll look for him to be able to run for close to 100 yards in this game against the Panthers.

Parnell’s Nasty Boy Parlay Play of the Day

We are still looking for our first hit of the season. I feel like this Sundays Nasty Boy might be the one.

I was able to get odds of +919 boosted to +1194 with a 30% boost:

  • Josh Jacobs anytime touchdown (-185)
  • TreVeyon Henderson over 22.5 rush yards (-114)
  • Tyler Warren over 47.5 receiving yards (-114)
  • Patrick Mahomes over 26.5 rush yards (-114)

Let’s have a DAY! PLEASE GAMBLE RESPONSIBLY
