Monday Night Football Week 17 is the last Monday Night game of the NFL season. This game sadly doesn’t mean as much as it should, but we still get NFL football. Tonight has the 13-2 Detroit Lions traveling to take on the 6-9 San Francisco 49ers.
Here are my plays for Monday Night Football Week 17.

Straights
Lions -3.5 (-105)
The only issue with the game tonight is it kind of means nothing. No matter what outcome happens tonight, the Lions will be playing for the number one seed and a bye next week versus the Minnesota Vikings. Dan Campbell said he is playing his guys and that is the type of guy he is, so I am going to trust in the Lions to win here. They have a super explosive offense, they just need to get a few stops on the defensive side.
The 49ers have had a season from hell this year, so I’m curious to see what version of them shows up.
Props
Tim Patrick over 27.5 receiving yards (-110)
With some of the uncertainty I have of how much the Lions will play their guys, I am a bit nervous about the props. However, Patrick over 27.5 feels like a good hedge of the game. He should be in regardless of the resting situation, so I look for him to get a few targets to hit this over.
Jahmyr Gibbs over 25.5 (-110) receiving yards & over 83.5 (-110) rush yards
Gibbs could be in for a huge night tonight assuming he plays the full game. With how explosive he is, any touch could become a big play. Coming off a great game against the Bears as well, I look for Gibbs to ride the momentum.
Jared Goff over 1.5 rush yards (-104)
This number is just beyond too low, even for Jared Goff. The only fear for me is Goff taking knees as time is expiring.
