There is a good chance the Seattle Seahawks will be without their first round pick to start the season. During a preseason game with the Dallas Cowboys, Smith-Njigba fractured his wrist trying to score a touchdown. Below is the play he is believed to hurt it on.

The Seahawks will now be without Smith-Njigba as he gets surgery to fix the fractured wrist. The Seahawks can not wait to get him back, as he has shown some real potential this offseason.

The Sooner he gets back for the Seahawks the better. Between Tyler Lockett, DK Metcalf, and Smith Njigba, the Seahawks have some real weapons in the receiver room. Add in Kenneth Walker and Zach Charbonnet, then they truly have some real offensive weapons.

Behind Geno Smith and Pete Carrol, the Seahawks look to challenge the 49ers for the division. Getting JSN back sooner rather than later will go a long way for this offense.
