Willy Adames celebrated his birthday yesterday as the Milwaukee Brewers took of division rival St. Louis Cardinals. Adames celebrated with cake, candles, presents, and a home run.
Willy Adames has homered in five straight games now as the Brewers are gearing up for a playoff run.
The Milwaukee Brewers have been in control of the NL Central division all season long, currently holding a 10 game lead.
Both the Brewers and Adames are heating up, as Milwaukee is 7-3 over their last 10 games. Over the weekend the Brewers took 3 out of 4 against the Cincinnati Reds and on labor day get an emphatic win over the Cardinals, 9-3.
The pitching has been excellent for Milwaukee, yet it is the bats that has gotten this team rolling.
“The Kid”, Willy Adames over his last 7 games has recorded 9 hits, 5 of them being home runs. His batting average is sitting at .300 over that span and he has hit in 11 RBI’s.
Adames has 99 RBI’s on the season to go along with his 29 home runs. There is no doubt about it, he will be the engine that gets this team going in the post season.
