NCAAF Bets: Week 3 (09/16/2023)

It feels like Week 0 was just upon us, now we are at Week 3, three weeks later. College football has been a ruckus of excitement thus far this season, may this week be the first week of calm.
Four pack of NCAAF bets for Saturday.
First Bet: Over in the South
The LSU Tigers will take on Miss State this weekend. The Tiger with all or nothing style head coach in Chip Kelly will look to prove a point this weekend, winning or losing.
They will go for it on every fourth down, which will run the score up for LSU or give Miss State a chance to run the score up a little bit of their own.
LSU will either win this game by 30 or it will be a 30 point loss, there is no in between with this style of coaching. I look for LSU to win in a shootout 44-35. I will play the over in this game. (LSU/Miss St O 54.5 -110)
Second Bet: OK USA
University of South Alabama has garnered a lot of hype, at least numbers wise. I can not seem to get my numbers for this team aligned with the market, which I would say is a good thing in my case.
This team has been overvalued each week to start this season and this week is no different. The number I have for this game is Oklahoma State -14.5.
It is a no brainer once I saw this number for this game, and quite frankly had to talk myself off of the ledge of betting everything I had deemed valuable on this one. Give me OK State to win this one comfortably 38-17. (OK State -7.5 -105)
Third Bet: SEC Battle of the Oranges
Tennessee is a little over rated in my opinion coming into the season. Florida, you could argue is on the same spectrum of over rated college football teams.
Both of these teams play risky football when it comes to play calling. Most likely it will be a huge defensive stand or turnover to flip the momentum that will ultimately decide who walks away with the victory.
This line does smell a little fishy, in a term I absolutely hate, yet fits here I believe. A “trap line” the kids call it. I have this number closer to 8 than I like to admit. While a close friend of mine has this number closer to 5.
The end result is the books are offering 6.5 currently, which just looks too good to pass up on. I will not confidently back the Volunteers and watch them cover this number in style. Tennessee wins an ugly one 38-30. (Tennessee -6.5 -118)
Fourth Bet: Sanders in Prime Time
Colorado has been the story of the season thus far, giving college football fans everything they could have asked for through the first three weeks.
Upsets, scoring, swag, and an underdog to root for. All of which will be on display for the first time this year in the prime time tv slot.
The opponent will be cross state rivals Colorado St, a team who has little chance according to books to compete.
This will be the first chance Colorado and Coach Prime get to showcase everything they have in the pocket. I look for them to empty those pockets on the night stand. Colorado makes a statement, winning 59-7. Give me the over. (Colorado/Colorado St O 59.5 -110)
NCAAF Bets: Recap
LSU/Miss St O 54.5 -110
OK State -7.5 -105
Tennessee -6.5 -118
Colorado/Colorado St O 59.5 -110
