MLB Bets: (09/01/2023)
It is the first day of September, which means the final month and stretch of Major League Baseball is upon us.
Tonight, on this beautiful Friday evening, I have a five pack of bets for you.

First Bet: Red Sox to snap Losing Streak
It is always concerning when betting on a team to snap a winning streak. Boston has lost it’s last four games and the firecracker offense has seem to be looking for a light.
Well look no further, the Kansas City Royals and starting pitcher Jordan Lyles is the light they need.
This is the perfect situation to see the Red Sox put up double digit runs and have a feel good win. (Red Sox -1.5 -110)
Second Bet: Rangers, Yikes
Same thing as the Red Sox with the Rangers, they have been playing their worse baseball as of late. Going 3-7 over their last 10 games and watching their division lead disappear.
The now third place Rangers look to get back on track now that the calendar has turned to September and the playoffs are right around the corner.
With Scherzer on the mound against a barely over .500 Twins team I will take my chances backing the Rangers tonight. (Rangers -1.5 +132)
Third Bet: Fade White Sox
Honestly, it scares me half to death to even think about betting the Tigers of Detroit. Yet, tonight it feels like a no brainer. From the pitching matchup to the teams performance over the last 4 months.
As odd as a bet that this is, it might be my favorite one of the night. I will bet that the Tigers get an early lead and hold it against a White Sox team that feels like their are more excited about the off-season than playing another month of baseball.
Give me the Tigers on the run line. (Tigers -1.5 +116)
MLB Bets: Money Lines
Fourth Bet: Phillies are Smoking Hot
The Phillies will take on the Brewers, who in their own right have been a hot team the last few weeks.
However, something in my gut loves the Phillies tonight with Zach Wheeler on the mound and a lineup who is finally putting all of the pieces together.
Peralta has not been as dominate as we are used to him being as of late, which is another reason I will fade the Brewers tonight. (Phillies ML -118)
Fifth Bet: O’s
The Diamondbacks will host the Orioles tonight, with Zach Davies on the mound. Who is arguably their worst pitcher this season in the rotation.
The O’s have been elite all season long, and they have done that by taking advantage of subpar pitching against them. Yes, Davies has had a few good outings here or there.
Yet I expect the O’s to touch him early and never let off the gas. (Orioles ML -116)
