The Ravens are adding some veteran depth to their linebacker spot.
The Baltimore Ravens are signing linebacker Kyle Van Noy, a source told CBS Sports’ Josina Anderson. He will join the practice squad first. This is his second visit with the Ravens since he last visited them in July.
Kyle Van Noy started 13 of 17 games last season as a member of the Los Angeles Chargers. He tallied 46 tackles, eight tackles for loss, and five sacks in 2022. He is a proven consistent pass-rusher during his career, racking up at least five sacks in each of his past four seasons.
Baltimore is bolstering its outside linebacker depth following multiple injuries at the position. David Ojabo exited the team’s Week 3 game against the Indianapolis Colts with an ankle injury, Odafe Oweh (ankle) sat out last Sunday’s matchup, and Tyus Bowser has been on the non-football injury list with a knee ailment since the start of training camp
Van Noy looks to bring in a veteran presence as well as some help rushing the passer.
