NFL action is FINALLY here. Here is the action that I am on for the Thursday night of action between Chiefs and Lions.

All odds are from FanDuel, BetMGM, and DrafKings

Kansas City -4.5 (-110)

I was able to get this line to drop in my favor, and was hoping it may go even lower. I love the Chiefs in this spot to open the season. There will probably be no Chris Jones, and Travis Kelce might as well be 50-50 to play. Either way, I like the fact Andy Reid has had so much time to prepare with Patrick Mahomes against the Lions.

The Lions have a lot of hype running behind them. While I do believe they will be decent this year, this feels like a good spot for the Chiefs. I do not see the Lions defense getting enough stops. So unless the Lions offense is ready to put up about 25-30, I like the Chiefs ability to cover.

Pacheco over 11.5 receiving (-113)

I like the idea of the running back receiving totals being so low. With this number, one great reception or two good ones could reach you. My only fear for this bet is the crowded backfield of Kansas City. That being said, I like the ability for Pacheco to get a checkdown or two and turn it into 12-15 yards.

Update: I was able to even find a 9.5(-120) line for Pacheco on DraftKings, I took that as well.

Pacheco, Kelce (if he plays) , Gibbs anytime TD scorer

For this game, I got three guys I put down to score anytime. Right now I have Pacheco(-105) and Gibbs(+155) bet to score anytime. My theme of the week from my picks is that the running backs will get into the endzone. Especially if Kelce is out, I love the idea of Pacheco getting into the endzone. Kansas City has a lot of weapons, and Pacheco is the one I am choosing. If Kelce(-125) plays, I think you could understand why I would take him.

As for Gibbs, I like the idea of him getting his first score against the Chiefs. The Lions loved to use the backs and score last year when close into the goal line. Using this thinking, I like the idea of Gibbs getting into the endzone if the Lions get it close.

Nasty Boy Parnell Parlay Play of the Day

For all the parlay lovers, I got a fun one for ya. For this one, I just sort of am combining all of my plays. So IF, and that’s a big if, you are willing to risk losing a little money for big odds, this is what i got for ya:

  • Chiefs ML (-225)
  • Gibbs anytime TD (+155)
  • Amon-Ra anytime TD (+115)
  • Pacheco anytime TD (-105)

This parlay is +1721. While I am a bit iffy on if it will hit, it will be a fun play I am riding. Let’s have a night, and welcome back NFL Football.
