Tonight, we have a good one for Thursday Night Football Week 16. We get an AFC West clash, as the Los Angeles Chargers take on the Denver Broncos. This is a pseudo playoff games, and playoff seeding is on the line in this one.
Here are my plays for Thursday Night Football Week 16.

Straights
Chargers -2.5 (-115)
I will admit, I could not figure out who I liked in this game more, especially based on their last few games. The Broncos have been on fire and playing some great football (they have won their last 4 games), while the Chargers have been a bit shaky since the JK Dobbins injury. The Chargers won last time these two played, but have not swept the season series since 2010. The Broncos would clinch their first playoff berth since 2015 with a win here. There is so much leaning to either side.
The books have the Chargers as 2.5 points favorites. The books know something, so I am going to side with the books on this one. The Broncos have covered in their last five games however, so that is something to keep in mind. I truly won’t be shocked if either team wins, so we will take the home team.
Props
Courtland Sutton over 62.5 receiving yards (-110) & over 5.5 receptions (+122)
Courtland Sutton is the only consistent weapon I trust on this Broncos offense. While any given week a new player might pop off, Courtland Sutton is usually pretty steady every game, with big games sprinkled in here and there. Over 62.5 receiving yards and over 5.5 receptions has hit in six of the last seven games. Coming off a stinker last game in the yards and receptions department (he did score a touchdown however), I expect him to bounce back in this game.
Bo Nix over 1.5 pass touchdowns (+148)
Last time these two teams played, Bo was able to get two passing touchdowns. With the Broncos rungame being super inconsistent this year, I assume Nix will need to throw for a few touchdowns to help the Broncos win. Him rushing in a touchdown might not be a bad play either.
Ladd McConkey over 5.5 receptions (-138)
I projected McConkey to have about five to six receptions in this game. With this number being right on that line and me not having too many bets tonight, I will add this over to the slip. The only scare about this bet is Patrick Surtain could be on McConkey all night.
Anytime touchdown scorers
Ladd McConkey +140
Courtland Sutton +170
Kimani Vidal +350
Parnell’s Nasty Boy Parlay Play of the Day
Monday night was a bit of a heartbreaker for us, as we had the right idea but not the right Nasty Boy. Tonight? We look to get back on the hot streak.
I was able to get odds of +1572 :
- Kimani Vidal anytime touchdown (+350)
- Courtland Sutton over 62.5 receiving yards (-110)
- Courtland Sutton over 5.5 receptions (+122)
- Ladd McConkey over 5.5 receptions -138
Let’s have a DAY! PLEASE GAMBLE RESPONSIBLY
