It is crazy to think that we only have three Thursday Night Football games left in the season. However, tonight’s matchup might be the best of the three. Thursday Night Football Week 15 blesses us with a divisional battle, as the the Los Angeles Rams go on the road to take on the San Francisco 49ers.

Here are my plays for the Thursdays Night Football action to kick off Week 15 of the NFL.

Check out the latest episodes of the JCPod and Captain By A Hook for my full breakdowns and analysis. All odds are a mix/the best number from FanDuel, DraftKings, and BetMGM.

Straights

Rams +3 (-120)

I look for tonight’s game to be a very close battle between two division foes. The 49ers are coming off a beat down of the Chicago Bears. As for the Los Angeles Rams, they played in a thriller of a game against the Buffalo Bills. Coming into tonight, the Rams are on a streak of winning six of their last eight. Both of these teams need this win desperately, and it’s truly hard for me to pick a side. I was impressed by the Rams against the Bills last week, so I will be taking them to cover the three points in this game. They came back to win it last time these two played, so it will be interesting to see if that is needed again.

Props

49ers to win first half/Rams to win the game (+800)

The 49ers come out the gates most games super hot, while the Rams take awhile to go. In the last game, the Rams came back from down 21-7 in the second half to win.

Cooper Kupp over 62.5 yards (-110)

I like how low this number is. The Rams will need to put up points if they want to win, so I expected Kupp to be involved heavily.

Brock Purdy over 1.5 pass touchdowns (-120) & over 18.5 rush yards (-110)

With the injuries to the running back position, it’s to the point the 49ers might trust the ball in Purdys hands way more in redzone situations. Due to that, I like for him to have another big game. I am a bit nervous due to the 49ers inconsistency on offense this year, but maybe that game against the Bears got them going.

Last time Purdy played the Rams this year, he threw for 292 and three passing touchdowns, adding 10 yards on one rush in the ground game.

Matt Stafford over 1.5 pass touchdowns (-128)

Like I said in the Cooper Kupp breakdown, the Rams will need to score points to win. I have them scoring around 24-27 points again, so I look for Stafford to throw for at least two touchdowns. The only fear would be either Kyren Williams taking a few scores, or the 49ers defense playing lights out.

Colby Parkinson over 9.5 receiving yards (-120)

If Parkinson can get over two receptions, I love this over hitting. Last few games he has only had one reception, so that could be the issue and make cutting this number close. Last time these two teams played he had three receptions for 21 yards, so we are looking for two receptions here to hit the over safely.

Anytime touchdown scorers

Cooper Kupp +115

Kyren Williams -160

Jauan Jennings +140

Deebo Samuel +135

Parnell’s Nasty Boy Parlay Play of the Day

In tonight’s game, we are going to get REALLY nasty. We will be going three touchdowns scorer’s, and a receiving prop.

I was able to get odds of +1681

  • Deebo Samuel +135
  • Kyren Williams -160
  • Jauan Jennings +140
  • Colby Parkinson over 11.5 receiving yards (-110)

Let’s have a DAY! PLEASE GAMBLE RESPONSIBLY
