The first one of the year? Oh man does it feel so right! The first Thursday Night Football game of the year will see the Kansas City Chiefs take on the Baltimore Ravens in Arrowhead. Here are my plays for Thursday Night Football.

Check out the latest episodes of the JCPod and Captain By A Hook for my full breakdowns. All odds are a mix/the best number from FanDuel, DraftKings, and BetMGM.

Straights

I actually was struggling to pick a side in this one. I have tried to pick a side and just have not got there on the Chiefs moneyline boosted or just take the points with Baltimore. If I was to take anything, I am leaning the under at 47.5 points. I have not bet it myself yet, but I am really close to pulling the trigger.

Props

Isiah Pacheco anytime touchdown (-105)

I look for Pacheco to get a good amount of work on the ground. With Samaje Perine as his backup (and he was only recently added), I especially look for Isiah Pacheco to get majority of the goal line touches. If the Chiefs get within the ten yard line, I like the odds of Pacheco to find his way into the endzone.

Lamar Jackson anytime touchdown (+200)

With the addition of Derrick Henry, this Ravens offense looks to be nasty in the rushing attack. I will admit I am a bit nervous about this prop, but I feel as if the +200 odds make it worth the risk. IF all of the focus is on Henry when the Ravens get near the goal line, then Lamar Jackson might just find himself a good opportunity to score. I may take Derrick Henry to hedge some, but I feel as if Lamar has a good shot.

Parnell’s Nasty Boy Parlay Play of the Day

For the first NFL nasty boy of the year, we are going to play around with three yard props and a touchdown prop. I was able to get odds of +748 boosted to +1123 with a 50% boost:

  • Isiah Pacheco over 14.5 receiving yards (-113)
  • Xavier Worthy over 44.5 receiving yards (-113)
  • Mark Andrews over 46.5 receiving yards (-113)
  • Patrick Mahomes over 1.5 passing touchdowns (-188)

Let the NFL season begin!

Let’s have a DAY! PLEASE GAMBLE RESPONSIBLY
