Monday Night Football Week Five closes out this week of NFL games. We will see the New Orleans Saints go on the road to take on the Kansas City Chiefs. Can the Chiefs improve to 5-0 without Rashee Rice or Isaiah Pacheco?

Here are my plays for Monday Night Football Week Five game.

Check out the latest episodes of the JCPod and Captain By A Hook for my full breakdowns. All odds are a mix/the best number from FanDuel, DraftKings, and BetMGM.

Straights

Chiefs -5.5 (-110)

I will admit this number does feel a little bit disgusting. I will not be shocked if the Chiefs don’t cover here, but I see them winning this game. Taysum Hill being out is a huge injury for the Saints offense. I look for the Chiefs to maybe start out slow, but end up cooking and be able to cover this number by the end of the game. As the game goes on, I’ll look for the Chiefs to be able to figure out Derek Carr and hold the Saints offense to not scoring much in the second half.

The second half under for this game is 20.5 at +100 odds, and I’m tempted to take that as well.

Props

Xavier Worthy anytime touchdown (+170)

I looked for Andy Reid to cook something up for Xavier Worthy in this primetime game. With no Rice or Pacheco, it’s going to be a all hands on deck type of night.

Kareem Hunt anytime touchdown (+140)

If the Chiefs get down within the five yard line, I expected the Kareem Hunt getting the touches. The only person I can see potentially stealing it is Carson Steele, but I am not sure if he’s out the doghouse yet after the fumbles.

Travis Kelce over 58.5 receiving yards (-110)

In this game, I look for the Travis Kelce to get about six receptions for 60 yards. I’m not gonna be shocked if they use him more than that, but I know that at minimum he should get about six to seven targets tonight with the Chiefs injury situation.

Alvin Kamara over 4.5 receptions (-128)

In the last game the Saints played, Alvin Kamara had seven receptions. With Taysum Hill out, I look for a Kamara to be the focal point of the offense. Derek Carr loves the safe check down to Kamara, so I look for him to do it a few times tonight to hit the over.

Xavier Worthy over 3.5 receptions (-102)

Like said before, I expect Xavier Worthy to be a part of the offense tonight with it being an all hands on deck game. I look for him to get a huge opportunity tonight for targets, and he might even be in line to have a big game.

Parnell’s Nasty Boy Parlay Play of the Day

We were really close, yet so far yesterday. Tonight on Monday Night Football, we look to bounce back. With tonight feeling a bit weird on both sides of the ball offensively, we are going to just combine my plays for the Nasty Boy.

I was able to get odds of +910 boosted to +1184 with a boost:

  • Travis Kelce over 50+ receiving yards (-172)
  • Kareem Hunt anytime touchdown (+140)
  • Xavier Worthy over 3.5 receptions (-102)
  • Alvin Kamara over 4 receptions (-250)
