It’s crazy to believe that we are already in College Football Conference Championship week. It’s been a really fun ride this season, and the best is still yet to come. With playoff hopes and seeding on the line, we got some games that truly matter.
Here are my plays for this beautiful College Football Conference Championship weekend.

Straights
Friday
Boise State -3.5 (-125)
If Boise State wins, they lock up their spot in the College Football Playoff. Last time out, UNLV was able to bottle up Ashton Jeanty a bit. Going into this game, I look for Boise State to find a way to get their guy going, and be able to win this game by over a touchdown.
Jacksonville State -4.5 (-110)
In their second year in the conference, Jacksonville State has a chance to win the conference title against Western Kentucky. With these two playing last week, it took a 53 yard field goal to beat Jacksonville State. I look for State to bounce back from that last game, and to win their first conference title.
Army +5.5 (-112) & money line (+170)
This is a huge vibes bet for me. Tulane is coming off a massive loss that took them out of the College Football Playoff conversation. Now they have to get off the mat and try to play a very good and hungry Army team, who still might have a shot at the 12 seed in the playoffs. I look for Army to win this game outright, adding a conference championship to the accolades they have accomplished this season. Army has been more than great to us this season, and we are not going to stop supporting the troops now!
Saturday
Arizona State money line (-118)
This being a Big 12 matchup, anything is truly possible. The winner is looking at getting themselves an automatic bid to the College Football Playoffs. For this game, I am going to the side of Cam Skattebo and the Sun Devils from Tempe. I expect a heavy dose of Cam Skattebo, and I look for him to wear down the Iowa State defense as the game goes on.
Miami (OH) money line (-125)
In the battle of Ohio, we have Miami OH taking on Ohio for the MAC title. We have a future (we gave out on the JCPod two months ago) on Miami OH to win the confrence, so for those who did that this is the perfect hedge opportunity. In this game regardless I do like side of Miami OH, as Ohios worst game of the season came to this Miami OH team. This is another game however where I won’t be shocked if Ohio pulls off the win.
Oregon -3.5 (-110)
I just can’t get myself to bet on Penn State here. On the other side of that, I have enjoyed what I’ve seen from this Oregon team this season under Dan Lanning. I honestly expected this line to be around -6.5 points, so I have no issue at all taking the -3.5 points. I expect Penn State to hang around at first, then for Oregon to pull away late to win.
Smu -2.5 (-110)
This should be a really fun and exciting game. SMU has to keep it close, or they could end up missing the CFP. On the other side of the coin, Clemson HAS to win this game if they want to make the playoffs. I will be taking the side of SMU in this game, but truly could see either of these teams winning. This game should be close, so I will take this number as long as it is under three.
Some games/sides that I lean to but have not bet nor fully decided on are: Georgia +3 (but I can’t figure this game out from a side standpoint), the Ragin Cajuns of Louisiana -5.5 points,
Props
Noah Short over 15.5 receiving yards (-114)
This depends on how much Army will throw. Short is Army’s second place in receptions (only behind by two on the season) to Casey Reynolds. One big pass play could hit this over.
Casey Reynolds over 24.5 receiving yards (-114)
This is Army’s top receiver on the season. It just depends how much Army throws, but I do like this over. One big pass play could hit this over.
Bryson Daily over 128.5 rush yards (-114)
This rush total for Daily has hit over for five consecutive games, putting him on a NBA Jam. Being Army’s best player and weapon, I expect him ti hit this over again.
Ricky White over 76.5 receiving yards (-114)
If White can get over five plus receptions, I love for him to be able to hit this over. If it is under five? We might be in trouble.
Tyler Warren over 68.5 receiving yards (-114)
Warren is Penn State‘s best player on offense. If they want any chance of winning the game, he will have to have a big game. I look for him to be heavily involved in the gameplan.
Terrance Ferguson over 39.5 receiving yards (-114)
I have Ferguson projected for about four receptions for 42 yards. Since this is just under that, I love this number.
