If you are a gambling man, which I am, there are some college basketball futures with prices too good to pass up, win or lose. This is NOT an article giving out guaranteed wins, or absolute locks.
What this is however, is an article giving out college basketball futures with tremendous value. Bets that will not be available come Christmas. The best time to get in on a future is before it becomes one of those viral sensations.
Some of these lines have already plummeted since last week, however I still think there is a huge drop in price coming in the next week or so. Numbers that I think are flat out wrong, numbers that as a gambler, I must have. Or I guess having FOMO is cool also.
Just for reference, I took Michigan to win the Big10 at +1300 as the 7th favorite, now they sit as the second favorite at +750. That price will likely be available January or February, not a must have at +750. However, if we see a +1000 or longer in the market, as of now, it is a must have.
Kentucky Futures
If you follow me on the X, you would of seen a tweet that went out hours before Kentucky took down Duke. That tweet stated that I was bullish on Kentucky right now, followed by prices to win the SEC, go to the Final Four, and win a National Title.
Those prices are no longer available, yet, the numbers listed I believe will be the bet we see the rest of the season. Meaning you MUST buy stock now.
Kentucky dropped from +1800 to +1300 to win the SEC. While Auburn seems to be on a mission and there are a fistful of other SEC teams to fear. This Kentucky team is underrated right now and should be priced closer to +350 to +500 range right now.
The Wildcats are also +500 to make the Final Four and +2500 to win it all. Winning the SEC is a must have right now, and I will also buy a sprinkle of +2500 for National Title.
The Final Four number is not long enough to entice me, I will just them come March game to game, or see what the number is going into the Tournament, +500 feels about right.
Other Conference Winners Worth Pulling the Trigger
Ole Miss to win SEC +3200 right now. Chris Beard has this team fired up and playing good ball these first two weeks. Long shot for sure, however better to grab em now then at +700 in February when you believe.
North Texas to win AAC +650 right now. This team is a tough out for anybody, and with Memphis being the top dog in this conference, wouldn’t be a stretch to see North Texas out last them this season.
Arizona at +1100 or Kansas at +230 to win the Big12. The Arizona price is too big to pass up right now coming off of their Wisconsin loss. While Kansas at plus money just always looks good to me. Feels like anybody can win the Big12 right now.
