Today in College Basketball.

This Monday is a quiet one across the College Basketball world. As we come down from the excitement that was feast week and prepare for the week ahead.
This week will feature one of my favorite weeks, the ACC/SEC challenge which starting tomorrow has an amazing slate of games through out the week.
There were teams last week that went on a tear and deserve some recognition, such as Villanova, Colorado State, Ohio State, and Nebraska to name a few.
We are starting the fourth week of the season and already you can tell this March will be a beauty of a tournament. Way too early projections have first round matchups fans dream of.
College Basketball Feast Week Recap
The Maui Invitational might have been the most exciting three days in college basketball history. Okay, I am getting ahead of myself.
However every team in that tournament left a piece of themselves on that floor, it was absolutely amazing to watch. Purdue and Zach Edey walk away with a hard, hard fought championship trophy.
Arkansas and Alabama struggled in the middle of last week before bouncing back over the weekend.
Villanova and Memphis crashed head to head in the Battle for Atlantis tournament. With Villanova putting not only the Big East on notice, but the entire country after their impressive sweep of games to walk away with that trophy.
Baylor also showed that they were still a top ten team in the nation and should have more respect on their name.
A Look Ahead
This week will be the ACC/SEC challenge, which starting tomorrow has a ton of great games on the slate.
Starting with Miami taking on Kentucky, number 10 vs number 16. Following that will be a 5-0 Clemson team taking on an Alabama team looking for blood.
Wednesday the challenge will heat up with Tennessee taking on North Carolina, Texas A&M vs Virginia, and Duke against Arkansas. Wow. Also on Wednesday if you love college hoops a in state matchup between Colorado and Colorado State will be an intriguing one to say the least.
Thursday is the beginning of the Big East-Big 12 matchups which will not disappoint either. Two of the toughest conferences in the nation facing off for a few days, how does it not get the juices flowing.
College Basketball is back, and this is what it is all about.
