NCAAF Bets: Week 7

After last night’s thriller in Houston between the Cougars and West Virginia, are we set up for an epic weekend in college football?
One can only hope so. Although the quality is there, the quantity is lacking this weekend. Only four bets from me on what is set up to be the first Saturday with cold weather.
NCAAF Bets: The Red Beard
First Bet: Close Game Alert
Wake Forest and Virginia Tech play Saturday afternoon. Virginia Tech for some reason has caught my eye a few times. I have backed them I believe this will be my third time this season.
Even though Wake Forest has the better record I believe VA Tech is the better team. In conference play Wake Forest has yet to pick up a win, and I do not see it happening this weekend.
Give me the Hookies at home. Tech wins 26-20. (Virginia Tech ML -118)
Second Bet: Good Ol’ Faithful
I have bet this every week, I have given this bet out every week, and every week I tell myself; “this will be the last time”. However it never is, I am just in love with this coach and believe he has one of the best offensive schemes in the country.
Without any more yada, yada, yada; give me the Texas State and Louisiana-Monroe Over this weekend. Texas State rolls 44-30. (Texas State O 63.5 -112)
Third Bet: Bounce Back
How good is Kentucky? If you are a fan of my writing or my show or follow me on Twitter, you have heard this question a lot. It is one of my favorite themes of the 2023-24 college football season.
Kentucky is very good, yet how good are they? Well against Georgia we kind of got that answer, Kentucky is a big fish in a small pond. Speaking of small ponds, they will host Missouri this weekend with a chance to bounce back from that Georgia fiasco.
I love Kentucky in this spot at home and will be laying the points. Tucky wins 33-18. (Kentucky -2.5 -118)
Fourth Bet: Prime Time
No, not Colorado, although it is not a bad bet. I am talking about prime time football Saturday night between Notre Dame and USC.
Two mighty forces colliding under the bright lights. Although USC has one of the worse defenses in the Pac-12 and possibly the nation, how much do we trust this Fighting Irish offense?
USC can and will touch 40 Saturday night, a feat Notre Dame in my opinion cannot. Notre Dame has played most of their games in the teens and low 20’s. To simplify this as much as possible, Notre Dame will not be able to keep up and eventually we will look up and USC is up 3 touchdowns.
USC wins big 48-24. (USC ML +118)
NCAAF Bets: Recap
Virginia Tech ML -118
Texas State O 63.5 -112
Kentucky -2.5 -118
USC ML +118
