MLB Bets: (08/25/2023)
Friday is here, and while the weekend is set to be a good one with week 0 in college football. There is still baseball being played, and there is no better feeling then being at the park on a Friday night.
I have six bets tonight over five games. I will be fading pitchers and riding hot teams, what could go wrong.
The Red Beard: MLB Bets
First Bet: Houston Bounce Back
Houston will fly to Detroit at the perfect time in their season. When they need a few wins the most. The Tigers are a tough team, yet the perfect team to get a bounce back series against after struggling.
With ace Framber Valdez on the mound, make me like em even more. I will ride the now third place Astros on the road tonight. (Astros -1.5 -105)
Second Bet: Staying in Texas
The Rangers, who top the division the Astros are in third place in right now have also been struggling. Also like the Astros they get a break by playing an AL Central team.
The Twins came back last night against the Rangers to win. Tonight I am betting they won’t get so lucky. Rangers need a win, Dane Dunning who has been fabulous all season is on the mound, I’ll take it.
Give me the first place Rangers on the run line at plus money. (Rangers -1.5 +165)

Third and Fourth Bet: Reds, Early
The Reds go into Arizona and play a hot Diamondbacks team. Last night these two team played a close burner of a game, resulting in a 4-3 win for Arizona.
Not only is Hunter Greene on the mound, a young stud of a pitcher who can go 5 scoreless or give up 4 runs in the third. Brandon Pfaadt will take the start for the D-backs.
I will fade Pfaadt tonight as well as the Diamondbacks. I am on the Reds First 5 Team Total Over 1.5 -150. Also, give me the money line on the road. (Reds ML +135) (Reds TT F5 O 1.5 -150)
Fifth Bet: The Mariners
The Seattle Mariners are only one game out of first place in their division after coming into August not even a thought as a post season team.
Which means they are playing baseball at a high level the last 25 days. A record of 16-5 this month alone I will ride this team tonight against the Royals of Kansas City.
Give me the Mariners on the run line. (Mariners -1.5 +110)
Sixth Bet: Hot-Lanta
Tonights best game might be this one, the late one. The game nobody is watching outside of Atlanta and San Francisco. I mean it is Friday night after all, this game will not start until 11 pm in New York.
Logan Webb and Spencer Strider take the bumps in what will be an epic display of pitching. I will take the road team, and back the young Strider tonight. Although Logan Webb is definitely capable of throwing a shut out late into the 7th or 8th inning.
Give me Hot-Lanta baby in a nerve-racking sweat of a bet. (Braves -1.5 +115)
