Monday’s bet got washed due to inclement weather. Good news is, we get the chance to bet it today at better odds. Also I will add one more bet to the pot.
First Bet: Monday’s Rain Check
On Monday I broke down why I want to take the Reds and do a strong fade of the Angels with Giolito on the mound.
Well copy and paste baby, I am taking the Reds today over the Angels. Same pitchers as yesterday, same reasons as yesterday.
Also as yesterday, I will go into the depths of the sports book and get the reverse run line, changing the +1.5 on the Reds to the -1.5 on the Reds. Yesterday that number was +170, today it is +185.
Give me the Reds on the reverse run line. (Reds -1.5 +185)
Second Bet: The Brooklyn Bums
The hottest team in baseball since mid July, the LA Dodgers will take the diamond tonight against the Cleveland Guardians. Bobby Miller (7-2, 3.70) who has been a highlight of the Dodgers season will get the start tonight and attempt to continue his dominance.
Noah Syndergaard (2-6, 6.57), once known as Thor, will take the bump for the Guardians. Syndergaard has had ups and downs his entire career, yet seems to be on track lately.
I am betting that this Dodgers lineup is just too much for the Guardians to match up with, and ultimately betting that the Dodgers win this game by margin. (Dodgers -1.5 -125)
