Not only is there only six games to choose from today, there is also the first NFL game that matters of the 2023-24 season.
Have no fear however, looking for action on the diamond? I have one play today at plus money that I like a lot. It is one of the best teams in the league, and I think it is time that they start acting like it again.
One and Only Bet: The Brooklyn Bums
The Los Angeles Dodgers are in Miami tonight to face the Marlins. Two very good young pitchers will take the bump for these teams. Ryan Pepiot (1-0, 1.29) will start for the Dodgers and Braxton Garrett (8-5, 3.86) will start for the Marlins.
Three weeks ago, Garrett faced the Dodgers and had a some what successful evening, pitching 6 innings recording 6 k’s while giving up 3 runs on 5 hits.
The Dodgers would win that game. Tonight I am all over this Dodger team who has struggled the last week. First losing 3 out of 4 to the Braves, secondly losing the last two to the Marlins.
I will be backing the Dodgers tonight, on the run line at great value because well, simply put; it’s the Dodgers.
One of the hardest things to do in this sport is complete the sweep, especially against a team like LA. After losing three in a row this weekend they get the last game on Sunday, and I look for them to get this last game of this series today.
