CBB Power Rankings (Top 10) 12/12/2023
This article is going to be exactly what it sounds like from the title. Every Tuesday I will release my top 10 college basketball teams in the country according to my power rankings.
Last year while UConn was never ranked number one nationally, I had them as the number team for stretches last season.
My rankings unlike the Ap and Coaches polls are based on two completely separate things. I focus more on gambling and the tournament. For example, the best record, or run does not phase me. The chemistry and rebounding will tell me more about how deep a team will go in March.
Which is what I focus this weekly power rankings on. How good are you against the spread? How deep do I think you can go in March?

- Arizona
- Purdue
- Kansas
- UConn
- Houston
- Baylor
- Creighton
- Marquette
- Oklahoma
- Clemson
While the list looks very, very similar to last week’s, it is hard to really move teams around this week. I wanted Purdue at 1, yet Arizona deserves it more I believe.
The cluster between 2-4 could move any teams anywhere and I would be happy. Same thing with 5-8. Also 9-10 are fishy, yes these two teams will probably not be in the top 10 long. Also yes, there probably are teams better than Oklahoma and Clemson.
However 9-0 is 9-0 and both teams have played a fairly competitive schedule.
