CBB Power Rankings

This article is going to be exactly what it sounds like from the title. Every Tuesday I will release my top 10 college basketball teams in the country according to my power rankings.

Last year while UConn was never ranked number one nationally, I had them as the number team for stretches last season.

My rankings unlike the Ap and Coaches polls are based on two completely separate things. I focus more on gambling and the tournament. For example the best record, or run does not phase me. The chemistry and rebounding will tell me more about how deep a team will go in March.

Which is what I focus this weekly power rankings on. How good are you against the spread? How deep do I think you can go in March?

CBB Power Rankings 11/14/2023

  1. Kansas
  2. Arizona
  3. Creighton
  4. Purdue
  5. Marquette
  6. UConn
  7. Kentucky
  8. Texas
  9. Memphis
  10. USC

Not much has changed from last week’s list, again still early in the season. A bunch of HUGE games this week, including four big name games tonight that will shake this list up next week for sure.

I love what Memphis did against Mizzou, and obviously the win for Arizona at Duke might be the biggest on of the first week of the season.

Still a lot of basketball to watch and analyze and play. This is just week one of this power rankings, as the weeks go on it will become accurate.

By the second week of December is usually when I feel like I truly have the best 10 teams in the nation.

Check back in Next Tuesday for the updated version of my CBB Power Rankings.
