In this world you take a week off and you might as well quit, huh? I ended up going 3-3 last weekend while off on vacation, nothing to swing a stick at as they say.
Week 7 Favorite Sides
Maybe I am the square here, we have the Philadelphia Eagles taking on the Minnesota Vikings with a back up quarterback and the Eagles are only favored by 2.5? We have the Eagles coming off of a elongated break playing last Thursday, I know the Vikings are coming off of a bye week. The Eagles got embarrassed on national TV a week ago, I’ll be backing Philly to come out and make a statement.
There are a slew of games I like in the 3 o’clock window starting with the New York Football Giants taking on the Denver Broncos. Broncos looked less than impressive last week against the Jets in London, let’s add some jet lag to the mix. Give me the dogs in this game as much as I love Denver, New York learned their lesson against the Saints; take care of the football and you will have a chance.
Colts are the surprise nobody saw coming, and outside of Indiana, well nobody cares about. The Chargers have been dealing with some issues on the offensive line, which worries me, however, they get it done at home this weekend. How long can the Colts keep this facade going?
Then to wrap up Sunday, let me make sure I bet on every NFC East game going on, just hit me that I have a bet on every NFC East game. We took Philly and New York, now we have a choice between Dallas and Washington. I’ll back the Commanders on the road as small road favorites over a Dallas Cowboys team that literally has to pull teeth to get a win. Lamb and Terry should be back in some manner, give me Jayden Daniels to bounce back after the Bears surprised them Monday night.
Speaking of Monday night, the Houston Texans travel long and far to Seattle to take on the Seahawks. This game will be played so late, it should be called Tuesday night football. Everybody thinks Seattle has the advantage, including the books, give me the Texans to keep it within the number.

This is where betting content stinks. I bet this Over on Tuesday, and now on Thursday morning I have to edit this article to say this. The number I have is dead, what can I do? I like Over 42.5 a lot better than 44.5, let me tell you that.
Thursday night football we have the Bengals and Steelers going at it in a game that might give an old man flashbacks. Rodgers, Flacco, let’s see some points get put on the board. I will take the Over up to 45 here, I have both teams getting into the 20’s comfortably.
