The Las Vegas Raiders are signing punter AJ Cole to a four-year, $15.8-million extension that includes $11 million guaranteed, sources told Jordan Schultz.
Cole’s $3.95-million average annual salary surpasses Seattle Seahawks punter Michael Dickson’s $3.6-million average for the top spot among all players at the position.
AJ Cole has earned first-team All-Pros in 2021 and 2023. He also made the Pro Bowl three years in a row, from 2021-2023.
The 29-year-old has averaged 48.6 yards per punt and 42.1 net yards per punt in 100 career games. He’s placed 44.9% of his 374 kicks inside opponents’ 20-yard lines.
