Not only did the Browns get Jerry Jeudy for a 2024 fifth and sixth round pick, (sent those picks back to the Denver Broncos in a trade), they now have extended him as well.
The Cleveland Browns and wide receiver Jerry Jeudy have agreed to terms on a three-year extension, the team announced March 19th.
The contract is worth up to $58 million with incentives, and is $41 million fully guaranteed, NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport and Tom Pelissero report.
A first-round pick out of Alabama back in 2020, Jeudy is coming off a solid season. He had 54 receptions, 758 yards, and two touchdowns last season. So far the best year of his career came in 2022 when he recorded 67 receptions for 972 yards and six touchdowns.
The Browns are set to form a receiving tandem of Jeudy and Amari Cooper, who’s under contract through the 2024 season. The offense also has weapons like David Njoku and Nick Chubb.
It will be interesting to see what other moves the Cleveland Browns will make. The AFC North has only gotten stronger in the offseason. Anyone has a chance to win this division next year, so it should be a fun battle to watch who will take the north this upcoming season.
