Week Six is upon us, and there are a few good games out there. Here are all my plays for the Week Six slate of College Football.
Check out the latest episodes of the JCPod and Captain By A Hook for my full breakdowns. All odds are from FanDuel, DraftKings, and BetMGM.
Friday
Nebraska +3.5
Illinois has not been having a good year. Their Coach also came out and said they need to find their Identity on offense. Nebraska has not been too impressive this year either, but it oddly seems a bit more stable. Give me Nebraska to cover.
Saturday
ND -6.5 (-110)
Notre Dame has been battle tested while Louisville has not played as many tough opponents. I think Louisville will find this game to be a bit harder than previous ones they have had. Brohm might be the better coach, but Notre Dame is more well rounded. They also are getting back the two missing receivers from last week. Give me Notre Dame.
Alabama -1.5 (-110)
This is just a number I like to see with Alabama. I do not get why Texas A&M is favored. Alabama has played more tested opponents, while A&M’s starting QB is out for the year and they lost bad to Miami. I like for Alabama and Nick Saban to continue the journey they are on this season. Give me Alabama to win on the road.
Michigan -18.5 (-110)
Michigan won big last week, I like them to do it again this week. Minnesota has not been too good this year, and it is just a weird year for them Michigan is building to play Penn State and Ohio State. I see the Wolverine winning big here.
Maryland +20 (-110)
I am scared of Ohio State’s offense going off, But Maryland’s offense has been explosive in the games they have played so far. This is Maryland’s toughest test to date, but I can see a world where their offense does just enough to keep it close. If Maryland can score 20+ points, I think the cover here.
Washington State +3.5 (-118)
The Cougars have been impressive all year, and they have been led by Cam Ward. It seems as if the Cougars are trying to fight to keep their football program, as a lot of rumors are they may shut it down. I look for this team to continue to fight, and I like them in this matchup against UCLA. If the Cougars can get the offense going, I am unsure if UCLA can keep up.
Colorado -4.5 (-104)
Colorado showed an impressive display in the second half. Coming into this game playing Arizona State, I believe they will be looking to get back on track with a win. I like the Buffaloes to win by a touchdown or more, so I will take them -4.5.
Purdue ML (+112)
Iowa has had no offense all year. Hill is now in with Cade McNamara out all year with a torn ACL. Purdue has been getting better week by week. That mixed with a lack of talent in the wide receiver core ( Purdue’s biggest weakness is the pass game) I like Purdue to win this game. Give me the Boilers to pull off the upset on the road.
Parnell’s Nasty Boy Parlay Play of the Day
For this Week Six slate, I come in with a 2-3 record with these nasty boys. We are going to keep the same formula, and take some spreads and money lines. I got odds of +1079, with a 50% boost you can get +1619:
- Texas -2.5 (-180)
- Notre Dame -2.5 (-215)
- Marshall moneyline(+220)
- Texas State +3.5 (-162)
Let’s have a Weekend! PLEASE GAMBLE RESPONSIBLY
