It is Week 8 in the college ranks. After some amazing games last week, we continue to build towards the College Football Playoffs. Here are my plays for this Week 8 of College Football action.

Saturday
Air Force -9.5 (-122)
Air Force has done a great job covering for me so far this year. This week they play a Navy team that has been struggling a little bit this year. I like Air Force to win here, and I like them to win by at least 10. Give me Air Force -9.5.
Penn State +5.5 (-118)
This is going to be Penn State’s first true real test. They beat up on Iowa earlier in the year, but Iowa is not as good offensively as Ohio State is. This is going to be a good battle between two really good teams. I like Penn State to keep it at least close to a field goal so I will be taking the points on their side. If Penn State’s defense can hold Ohio State under about 28, I think Penn State has a chance to cover.
Duke +14.5 (-110)
It seems like Riley Leonard may not play, so that does make me a bit nervous about this. However, Florida State has shown that they are willing to let teams hang around in the games. Duke’s defense is good, but Florida State gets two receivers back this week. I am a bit nervous, but I like Duke to stay within two touchdowns. Give me Duke to cover.
IU +5.5 (-110)
When it comes to this game, I am just taking the home team with the points. Rutgers offense might actually be a bit better, but it feels weird to see them favorite on the road against IU. IU is having some issues while showing signs of good. Meanwhile, Rutgers is looking to go bowling potentially with the next win or two. It feels like a weird game, so I will be taking the Hoosiers to cover 5.5 at home.
Clemson -3 (-110)
After the last two weeks, I cannot trust Miami anymore. Miami has had a really weird go of it as of late, while Clemson looks to build to get to a board game. I was on North Carolina last week when they beat Miami, so I will be on Clemson this week seeing them potentially do the same. Clemson has gotten better week by week, and I just don’t know if Miami has fully recovered from the Georgia Tech game. Give me Clemson -3
Northwestern +11.5 (-115)
Rowan talked me into this on Captain By A Hook. Nebraska is coming off a bye, and they are favored by 12 points. Both teams have had issues this year, while also just having weird seasons. I feel like 12 is a lot of points and I don’t see Nebraska winning by that much. Give me Northwestern to cover.
