We are back for Week 10 of the College Football season. We are getting closer and closer to the College Football Playoffs, so all these games matter that much more. Here are my plays for this Week 10 slate.

Check out the latest episodes of the JCPod and Captain By A Hook for my full breakdowns. All odds are from FanDuel, DraftKings, and BetMGM.

Friday

Boston College +3 (-110)

Boston College is looking to go bowling, and this will be one of the bigger games for them. They have a few tougher games after this one, so this is about as much win as it gets. I will be taking Boston College +3, but look for them to win here against a struggling Syracuse team.

Saturday

Nebraska -3 (-115)

Nebraska has been really impressive under its first year of the Matt Rhule era. They have shown signs of struggling and needs in some places, but they have been able to win a good amount of games they probably shouldn’t have. I will be taking them to win here, as Michigan State just has been having a horrendous year. Meanwhile, Nebraska is looking to go bowling. Give me Nebraska to win by more than a field goal.

Notre Dame -3 (-115)

Notre Dame has started to look a little bit better each week. Meanwhile, Clemson has continued to struggle and has had two rough losses in a row. I look for it to become three, and I am taking Notre Dame to win here. Clemson season may already be over, and they potentially are going to be looking at entering the transfer portal to get some talent this off-season. Give me Notre Dame to win and continue to build towards a bowl game. Sam Hartman is 0-4 against Clemson, but looks to get his first win here.

Rutgers +18.5 (-110)

Ohio State has not blown out a lot of people this year, so I love this big number. Rutgers offense does scare me a bit, as they are not playing at their best. However, I’ll look for them to be able to hang around just enough to cover this 18 number.  Give me Rutgers to stay within two touchdowns and a field goal.

Jacksonville State +15.5 (-110)

Jacksonville State has been nice to me this year, and I’ve won a lot of bets I have placed on them. They have a real shot to cover against this South Carolina team, as South Carolina just seems to be having issues everywhere this year. This would be a really big win for Jacksonville State, and would be one of the better things to happen since they just moved up to FBS this year. Give me Jacksonville State to cover and stay within two touchdowns, and I’ll even look for them to potentially pull off a big win.

Air Force -17.5 (-118)

Air Force has been a covering machine for me this year, and I look for them to do it again. Army has not been playing that well this year, and they’ve had a really rough few weeks. Air Force looks to continue the wind streak, and I see them being able to beat down on Army here. Give me Air Force to cover and win this game by close to 20.

Oklahoma State +5.5 (-104)

Oklahoma State is coming in facing a team that just got upset last week and is looking to get back on track. Last week, Oklahoma lost to Kansas in a tough loss. Ollie Gordon II has been amazing for Oklahoma State, and he has been a machine these last few weeks. I look for Oklahoma State to ride him again, and for them to be able to keep it close. Give me Oklahoma State to continue to stay hot and cover 5.5 points in this Week 10 matchup.

James Madison -5.5 (-110)

James Madison has been good to me, and I will look to come back to them again. They did not cover last week, but last week was a massive spread and they still won the game. Coming into this game, I look for them to do what they’ve done all season, win. Give me James Madison to cover against Georgia State.

Kansas  + 2.5 (-105)

Kansas is coming off a massive win last week at home. They were able to upset Oklahoma, and the offense looks really good. I’ll look for the offense to establish the run game in this matchup, and look for them to continue to ride the momentum of the win. Give me Kansas to go on the road and win at Iowa State.
