Thursday Night Football in Week Five gives us a game that is do or die for one team, as your hopes of making the playoffs at 0-5 is as small as it gets. The 0-4 Tampa Bay Buccaneers are on the road to take on the 2-2 Dallas Cowboys coming off a great win against the Texans.
Here are my plays for Thursday Night Football Week Five.

Straights
Cowboys – Buccaneers over 47.5 total points (-110)
I do not think I will be taking a side in this game. If I had to pick one, I think I would lean towards the Dallas Cowboys -8 points. One bet I will be taking though is the over 47.5 total points in this game. This Dallas Cowboys offense is able to put a lot of points when needed, as they as have hit over 30+ points in three of the four games so far this season. While the Buccaneers defense hasn’t been horrible, they have not nearly been as good as they have in the past couple of seasons. I believe this bet will truly come down to if the Tampa Bay Buccaneers are able to put up double digit points for us. I feel as if the Dallas Cowboys at minimum will score around 24 to 27 points, so we are looking for at least two touchdowns out of Tampa Bay.
With Jalon Daniels set to start again, I think his mobility could help us hit this over.
Player Props
George Pickens over 60 receiving yards (-135)
CeeDee Lamb got hyper targeted in the last game, finishing with over 17 receptions and close to 200+ receiving yards. Would George Pickens only getting two receptions in the last game, I expect for him to get a couple more looks this game, as a defense will focus more on lamb. I look for picking to get around five receptions for anywhere from 65 to 80 yards.
Emeka Egbuka over 35.5 receiving yards (-115)
Egbuka it’s too talented to have this low of a receiving numbe. While I do understand that a rookie is starting, I expect for the offense to scheme up more plays to get Egbuka the ball.
Kenneth Gainwell over 10+ receiving yards (-140)
With the rookie Jalon Daniels getting another start, I look for Gainwell to be a saftey net option for him to check down to. All we are looking for is two or treee receptions and then I feel great about hitting this over.
As for anytime touchdown scorers, I like CeeDee Lamb (-110), George Pickens (+110), Sean Tucker (+325), Jake Ferguson (+215), & finally Cade Otton (+450).
Parnell’s Nasty Boy Parlay Play of the Day
Two hits this early in the year is a great start to season. However, I’m greedy and want to hit another Nasty Boy. The best combo for us to use seems to be adding one touchdown scorer followed by going going three props.
I was able to get odds of +1500 boosted to +1800 with a 20% boost:
- Kenneth Gainwell over 10+ receiving yards (-140)
- Emeka Egbuka over 35.5 receiving yards (-115)
- George Pickens over 60 receiving yards (-135)
- Jake Ferguson anytime touchdown scorer (+210)
Let’s have a DAY! PLEASE GAMBLE RESPONSIBLY!
