Thursday Night Football Week Eight has a good game on the slate for us. In a battle of friends, we will see Kevin O’Connell’s Minnesota Vikings travel on the road to take on Sean McVay’s Los Angels Rams.
Here are my plays for Thursday Night Football Week Eight!

Straights
Vikings -2.5 (-118)
All the numbers and stats point towards the Vikings. Another reason that I personally like the Vikings is that they are coming off the tough loss. The best way to flush a loss is having a game right after, and I bet the boys are gonna be juiced for tonight. With the offensive line struggles the Rams have had, Brian Flores will be trying to dial up some pressure to get to Stafford. This -2.5 has me a tad nervous somebody knows something, but it’s just too good of a number to stay away.
Props
Justin Jefferson over 5.5 receptions (-140) & over 84.5 yards (-110)
I’ll look for Jefferson to have a big night tonight against the Rams. I project him to have about seven receptions for around 90-100 yards. He has had six receptions and been close to a massive game in a lot of these outings. Tonight is potentially going to be the night he has his second 100 yard game this season.
Kyren Williams anytime touchdown (-165)
Kyren has scored in nine games in a row. I will look to get these odds a bit better live during the game.
Tutu Atwell over 32.5 receiving yards (-110) and over 2.5 receptions (-146)
Tutu has been Matt Stafford’s favorite target since Cooper Kupp left the lineup. With Kupps return, I look for Atwell to have a few easier opportunities, but maybe not as many as before.
Cooper Kupp over 6.5 receptions (-114)
Between his return and the trade rumors, I see the Kupp/Stafford combo connecting a few times tonight, maybe having a big game. With a tough run defense that they are facing (Vikings are second best rush defense in NFL), the Rams will most likely need to have nine to dime combo heat up in this game.
Parnell’s Nasty Boy Parlay Play of the Day
After a sad loss on Monday, we look to get back on track tonight. I have two touchdown scorers and two yard props.
While not the best of odds, I was able to get odds of +787 boosted to +1023 if you choose to use a 30% boost:
- Kyren Williams anytime touchdown (-165)
- Cooper Kupp over 67.5 receiving yards (-110)
- Justin Jefferson anytime touchdown (-115)
- Justin Jefferson over 7+ receptions (+132)
