NFL Week 15 gives us a beautiful slate of games. Every week we get closer to the playoffs are another week we see teams lose their chance to make it. With a few teams in must win scenarios this weekend, we are in store for some good football.

Here are my plays for NFL Week 15.

Check out the latest episodes of the JCPod and Thursdays episode of Captain By A Hook for my full breakdowns and analysis. All odds are a mix/the best number from FanDuel, DraftKings, and BetMGM.

Straights

Colts +4 (-105)

This is a playoff game in the regular season. The Colts need this game to keep their season alive. A loss here could hurt the Broncos and their chances to stay in the Playoff picture. This is a bit of a homer pick I will admit, but I am taking the Colts and the points. I expect for the Colts to at least keep this close. The wildcard factor in this game is Anthony Richardson. He has potential to make enough plays to help the Colts win.

Commanders -7.5 (-110)

With Jake Haener starting for the Saints, I expect the Commanders to win this game by 10+ points. Marshon Lattimore making his Commanders debut here, which should help out the Commanders defense.

Panthers -2.5 (-120)

With how well the Panthers have been playing lately, I truly feel like they have a chance to win this game. With how bad the loss was for the Cowboys in their last game, I’m not sure how they will respond in this game against the Panthers. Due to that and with how well Bryce Young has been playing, I will be on the side of the Panthers and take the -2.5 points.

Chargers -2.5 (-125)

In this game against the Buccaneers, I’m truly torn on who I liked. I ended up going with the Chargers and the three however, as I liked what I saw from them against the Chiefs. I look for this to be a close game throughout, allowing the Chargers the chance to win by a field goal.

Chiefs -4 (-110)

This opened at 6.5 points, and now has dropped to 4. The Chiefs have not covered in forever, but this feels like a doable game to cover. The only issue is Jameis Winston. He has a chance to throw for a lot of touchdowns, but he also can throw a few interceptions with that. I look for the Chiefs to win this game by about five to seven points.

Patriots +6.5 (-115)

I feel as if this is one of the last chances the Patriots will have to win a game this season. Along with that, the Cardinals have shown us that they can play inconsistent football at any point. with how exciting Drake Maye is, this game could go either way. I will be taking the Patriots with the points however, as I do not trust them to not commit dumb penalties.

Props

Brian Robinson over 77.5 rush yards (-110)

I look for Brian Robinson Jr to have a big day on the ground against the Saints. Time of possession could go heavy in the favor of the Commanders as well, which would help with us hitting this over.

Davante Adams over 64.5 (-113) reciting yards & over 5.5 receptions (-138)

The Rodgers to Adams connection seems to be getting back to what it used to be. At this point with how inconsistent Rogers is playing, Davante Adams props are the only thing I trust on this team.

Mike Evans over 68.5 receiving yards (-113)

We are taking this over mainly due to the fact Mike Evans still has a shot at getting 1000 yards on the season. The Buccaneers will also need a big game out of Mike Evans if they want to beat the Chargers.

Aj Brown over 81.5 receiving yards (-113)

I’m taking this after AJ Brown came out to the media last week. I look for him to have a big game and show why he was demanding the ball more.

Jahmyr Gibbs over 66.5 receiving yards (-113)

Gibbs at any number over 70 is a bet for me this week. One way to get the Bills in a tough spot is in the ground.

James Cook over 49.5 rush yards (-113)

Cook is coming off his worse game of the season as the Bills now take on the Lions. I look for Cooks to bounce back this week and at least get 50 yards rushing.

Josh Allen over 38.5 rush yards (-110)

Allen has hit this over in three of his last four. Coming off his best game of the season (and maybe career?), I look for him to hit the over again.
